I was born on a farm in southern Iowa to Ruby Luberta (Stone) Housh and Raymond Housh. I had two brothers, Forrest and James who were welcomed into the world after me.

I was raised in a home where laughter and good times abounded; my Mom always had some one extra for dinner nearly every evening. We spent our evenings in the winter time playing cards, dancing, conversing with our neighbors, eating tons of home cooked food (including home made ice cream) and star gazing.

Grade School

I attended Leon High School in Leon, Iowa for four years majoring in business subjects. Subjects I got the best grades in were government, typing, history, literature and music. My favorite sport and one that I played was basketball. I spent most of my evenings getting into trouble…….will elaborate later.

Des Moines was my first home away from home after high school. My career has included many jobs; typist in an insurance company, billing clerk for General Electric

I was originally baptized a member of Grace United Methodist Church located at 38^th and Cottage Grove but later was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints.

Education: I attended several grade schools in south central Iowa (which I loved), attended Leon High School in Leon, Iowa. Graduated from Drake University in 1984 with a degree in Business Administration, major in accounting.
